Sr. Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide project support during the proposal and bid phases to identify innovative and cost-effective geotechnical design solutions.
• Work with pursuit teams to identify key design risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
• Support EPC and design-build projects by developing design recommendations and producing technical deliverables.
• Serve as a geotechnical lead or project manager on various infrastructure assignments.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary designs and ensure seamless communication between engineering and construction teams.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 11+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience (15+ years preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the United States.
• Extensive technical knowledge in deep and shallow foundations, slope stability, seismic engineering, and earth retention.
• Ability to travel to project sites and access construction environments in various climates.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience directing or reviewing the work of others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on EPC or Design-Build projects.
• Proficiency or experience working with AI agents and tools.
