Sr Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of modern full-stack applications for Capital Markets, focusing on React, Node.js, and Java services.
• Build polished, highly functional user experiences using React and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs and services using Node.js and Java/Spring Boot.
• Work directly with business stakeholders, traders, and end users to gather feedback and shape the product roadmap.
• Actively contribute code, participate in code reviews, and drive technical design decisions.
• Coordinate development efforts and provide technical leadership across multiple projects.
• Debug production issues and improve long-term platform stability, scalability, and security.
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers while promoting engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience building modern web applications.
• Strong hands-on expertise with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend architecture.
• Proven experience building backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience working with relational and document databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or MongoDB).
• Experience leading development efforts and coordinating work with other developers.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to refine technical solutions.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Capital Markets or Front Office trading environments.
• Familiarity with trading workflows such as pricing, inventory, positions, P&L, or risk management.
• Experience building applications within investment banking, hedge funds, or asset management.
• Experience with desktop interoperability or multi-application workflow platforms.
• Familiarity with real-time systems, event-driven architecture, or messaging technologies.
