Sr. Food Safety Quality Assurance Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead all Quality Assurance & Food Safety programs to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards
• Own HACCP and food safety systems while driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to strengthen processes and food-safe design
• Lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits, including the management of corrective actions
• Develop, coach, and mentor a high-performing QFS team
• Monitor performance metrics and translate data insights into actionable operational improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in food manufacturing
• 3+ years of experience in people leadership
• Deep knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and solve complex problems

Preferred Qualifications

• HACCP certification, PCQI, or SQF Practitioner eligibility
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
