Sr Field Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive field testing on prototype agricultural and off-highway equipment, including selecting test locations and coordinating with cooperators.
• Collect, organize, and analyze performance data using instrumentation such as data loggers to report accurate results and improvement recommendations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and CAN-BUS systems during field operations and testing activities.
• Collaborate with farmers, dealers, field teams, and engineering groups to validate machine performance and address safety concerns.
• Represent Validation Engineering in design reviews and project milestones while maintaining equipment condition and security.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (or equivalent experience) with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on fabrication/modification skills.
• 5+ years of field testing or technical experience in agricultural or off-highway machinery.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and CAN-BUS systems.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work effectively in dynamic field environments.
• Proficiency with diagnostic and data acquisition tools.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including a clean driving record and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
