Sr. Feature Owner – ADAS/AD Driving Features

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, prototype, and launch cutting-edge L2++/L3/L4 driving features, including hands-off highway driving and urban automated driving
• Own the end-to-end feature lifecycle from concept through production launch to ensure high-quality customer delivery
• Create and manage feature roadmaps for multiple vehicle programs, securing stakeholder buy-in
• Develop comprehensive feature definitions, including use cases, operational design domains (ODD), and functional requirements
• Collaborate with Functional Safety teams on HARA, Safety Goal development, and SOTIF analysis
• Partner with Tier 1 suppliers and internal perception, planning, and controls teams to implement solutions
• Drive feature specifications and lead usability studies with UX/UI design teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electrical, Automotive, Mechanical, or Robotics) or a related field
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in ADAS/AD feature development, specifically focusing on L2+ and above
• Proven track record of bringing ADAS/AD driving features into production
• Expertise in use case development, ODD definition, and requirements engineering
• Solid understanding of SAE J3016 automation levels and the differences between L2+, L3, and L4 systems
• Proficiency with requirements management tools such as JAMA or DOORS
• Proficiency with agile development tools such as JIRA

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field
• Previous experience as a Feature Owner or Product Owner for L2+/L3/L4 functions at an OEM or Tier 1 supplier
• Experience with driver monitoring systems (DMS) and their integration with hands-off driving modes
• Familiarity with scenario-based testing, simulation tools (dSPACE, CarMaker, CARLA), and SiL/HiL validation
• Knowledge of perception sensor suites (camera, radar, LiDAR) and sensor fusion architectures
• Understanding of motion planning, path planning, and decision-making algorithms
