Sr. Facility Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to operations for surface facilities within the Permian Basin
• Ensure engineering controls are in place for safe facility operations and regulatory compliance
• Identify causes for facility downtime, flaring, or venting and evaluate remediation plans
• Lead incident investigations and perform regular surveillance of facilities and compression stations
• Manage facility modification projects through the Management of Change (MOC) process
• Execute facility upgrade projects from FEED through to Operations handover
• Develop and maintain critical facility drawings, including P&IDs
• Mentor and guide emerging engineers to foster professional growth
• Develop tools to track and report key facility metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering (or a related field)
• 5-10 years of Oil and Gas engineering experience, specifically in facilities or upstream unconventional
• Demonstrated expertise in managing and executing engineering projects
• Proficiency in Procount and Hysys for modeling design modifications and pressure drops
• Ability to read and redline P&ID drawings
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
