Sr. Facility Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day problem-solving support to production, development, and research operations
• Troubleshoot material, process, and equipment issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement (DMAIC) and cost reduction projects
• Train operators and trades personnel on new equipment and processes
• Use statistical tools and Designed Experiments (DOE) for process improvement and problem solving
• Support new product introductions through equipment installation, process certification, and documentation
• Ensure safety of operators and equipment while complying with environmental regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• Yellow Belt Training
• Demonstrated knowledge in a technical field
• Experience with project team membership and a track record of delivering results

Preferred Qualifications

• Green Belt Certification
• Project Team Leadership experience
• Shift supervisory experience
• Progressive experience or internship experience within the field of engineering
