About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Linde Technology Center (LTC) campus by managing building maintenance, infrastructure improvements, and large-scale construction projects.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction, new equipment installation, renovation, and refurbishment projects.
- Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure systems, including power distribution, telecommunications, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, and environmental monitoring.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for process and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with the Site Director to develop long-term strategies to increase operating efficiencies and decrease costs.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulatory requirements.
- Identify and diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to optimize facility reliability.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to oversee maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities operations or engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of MEP systems, power distribution, energy management, UPS, Fire Suppression systems, BMS, and industrial utilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project or related project management software.
- Strong experience managing outside contractors, including competitive bidding and change order processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MS/MA) in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Real Property Administrator (RPA) designations.
- Working knowledge of ACGIH Industrial Ventilation standards and practices.
