Sr. Executive/Assistant Manager - Sea Cargo Export

Responsibilities

• Manage overall sea export activities within an assigned geography
• Place bookings with shipping lines or co-loaders and release bookings to shippers
• Arrange pickups and customs clearance when within the scope of service
• Handle documentation including SI filing, VGM filing, and shipping bill submission via Odex
• Manage AMS/ISF filing and release HBL/MBL
• Provide customers with all necessary cut-off information and drafts
• Track all shipments and send pre-alerts to relevant parties
• Coordinate with destination offices for DAP/DDP shipments
• Perform job creation in the system and manage invoicing to shippers

Requirements

• Graduate degree in any discipline; MBA is preferred
• 5-7 years of professional experience in Sea Cargo exports
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms and country-specific requirements
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills
• Fluency in English
• Background in commercial education or specialized freight forwarding training

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of CargoWise (CW1) software
