About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) risk reduction programs and lead global ergonomics partnership and job rotation initiatives.
- Manage and deliver results on complex projects across multiple organizations and business units.
- Use ergonomic tools and methods to assess and quantify risk both pre- and post-intervention.
- Map business requirements, analyze workflows, and develop research or investigation protocols.
- Analyze metrics and behaviors to draw key business insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Teach and facilitate training to operations and support teams globally.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to ensure program success.
- Travel up to 50% of the time to support global field ergonomics needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of program or project management experience.
- 5+ years of cross-functional experience working with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery, including communicating results to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in ergonomics, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field with an emphasis on ergonomics/biomechanics.
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in ergonomics, industrial engineering, or a related field with a strong emphasis in physical ergonomics/occupational biomechanics.
- Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) or equivalent international certification (CIEHF, CREE, etc.).
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Access, or SQL.
- Proficiency in CAD skills for developing integrated automation layouts.
- Knowledge of predetermined motion time systems (e.g., MTM, MOST, MODAPTS).
- Experience with labor management tools or Staffing Command Center tools.
