Sr. Equipment Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide professional repair and installation services for dental equipment in practitioner offices
• Perform high-level troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Lead on-site installation, maintenance, and testing tasks while mentoring junior technicians
• Manage van inventory and ensure all necessary tools are readily available for service calls
• Complete detailed service reports and work orders daily, including parts replacement and billing details
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company fleet management policies
• Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and contractors to optimize the customer experience

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the dental industry with demonstrated proficiency
• Possession of 3 or more Level 1 Certifications
• Cross-certification in digital x-ray/software and digital CAD/CAM
• Strong mechanical background and expert troubleshooting skills
• Advanced computer skills and ability to manage digital work orders and reporting
• Ability to maneuver large equipment and perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing ladders

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or Technical School Certification
• Vocational training or specialized on-the-job training in dental equipment
