Sr. Epitaxy Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain MBE tool, performing standard PM activities like chamber bake, source refills, pump rebuilds, and hazardous waste disposal
• Maintain PVD sputter tool, performing target and shield changes, pump rebuilds, and chamber cleans
• Troubleshoot and repair process equipment to achieve uptime goals
• Track and fingerprint machine parameters and develop long-term maintenance plans
• Implement fundamental hardware improvements for improved performance and uptime
• Support WaferFab equipment, Metrology tools, and site Facilities
• Follow written procedures and generate new documentation
• Communicate with external suppliers/vendors and collaborate with internal process engineers

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to wear SCBA/APAR, work in strenuous environments, and lift 26-50lbs
• Systematic and organized work approach
• Clear and efficient communication and documentation skills
• Certified or able to obtain Hazmat Technician certification
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications
• Design/CAD experience
