Sr. Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management for Product Engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability
• Partner with Product Management and UX designers to co-own product roadmaps and ensure technical feasibility
• Drive cross-functional execution across Architecture, Platform, Data, Security, and Operations teams
• Lead end-to-end feature development, including experimentation, releases, and operational support
• Guide architectural decisions to support scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability
• Promote the use of AI-powered engineering tools to improve developer efficiency and code quality
• Mentor engineers and emerging leaders to develop strong product-thinking and technical skills
• Manage technical debt while maintaining delivery momentum and Agile best practices

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development or related engineering roles
• 4+ years of experience as an engineering manager, specifically leading Product Engineering teams
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java or similar programming languages
• 5+ years of experience building customer-facing applications with SQL/No-SQL databases
• 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as GCP
• 4+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Proven experience working in product-led development environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the fintech domain, including financial services or payments
• Experience leading multiple product teams or platform-enabled initiatives
• Exposure to product analytics, A/B testing, and feature flags
• Experience working with distributed or globally aligned product teams
