About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of developers to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure software solutions.
  • Own the technical architecture and direction for new features and products within the Banker Experience domain.
  • Drive end-to-end development from user interfaces to server-side logic and database management.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level developers to ensure best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews, root cause analysis, and defect analysis to maintain high code quality.
  • Collaborate with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to ensure system reliability and availability.
  • Drive modern software development practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in full stack software development (Java, Node.js, React, or Angular).
  • 2+ years of experience in an engineering leadership or mentorship role.
  • 5+ years of experience with databases including Oracle, SQL, and MongoDB.
  • 5+ years of experience working within the banking or finance industry.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies: React JS, Angular, CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript (ES6).
  • Strong experience with RESTful API design, SOAP services, and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Siebel CRM web services.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress or Mocha.
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
