Sr. Engineer – Data Center Facility Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Capture customer business requirements and conceptualize designs that meet TIA and Uptime standards.
• Design leading-edge solutions for Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, and BMS systems using various technologies and OEM products.
• Create solution design documents, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Scope of Work (SOW), estimates, and technical specifications.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and documentation for data center construction and renovation projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers, ensuring compliance with Tier/TIA standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Conduct performance testing, commissioning, and regular site inspections to ensure system reliability.
• Evaluate and select equipment vendors and contractors, managing relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Deep understanding of data center facility infrastructure, including electrical and HVAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of BMS and Tier/TIA standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage technical documentation, costing, and tender documents.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) certification.
• CDCS (Certified Data Centre Specialist) certification.
• ATD (Accredited Tier Designer) certification.
