Sr. Engineer/Assistant Manager – Technical Service

Responsibilities

• Provide quality technical support and on-site engineering for the Automotive & Industry business unit
• Conduct technical trials, demonstrations, troubleshooting, and process audits at customer sites
• Define test requirements and organize samples for laboratory testing of customer projects
• Prepare technical documentation, application guidelines, and evaluation reports for internal and external projects
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to manage existing business and identify new business opportunities
• Address customer complaints and provide innovative solutions to technical challenges
• Monitor market intelligence and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry trends

Requirements

• BE/B.Tech in Chemical, Polymer, or Materials engineering OR M.Sc. in Chemistry or Polymer Science
• 5 years of experience in Technical Service or Application Engineering
• Proven experience in specialty chemicals, polymers, or elastomers
• Willingness to travel 60-70% of the time (local and international)
• Strong interpersonal skills with professional written and verbal English communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within the adhesives and sealants industry
• Experience in the façade and fenestration market sector
