About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop C++ flight software requirements, design, code, unit tests, and requirements-based test cases in accordance with DO-178C procedures
  • Develop Python-based software integration test cases
  • Focus on numerical optimization, networking, protocol drivers, memory interfaces, and software-to-FPGA interface layers

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience developing C or C++
  • 3+ years of experience translating and optimizing complex mathematical algorithms into performant, deterministic embedded code
  • Hands-on experience developing driver-level software for software-to-FPGA interfaces and managing high-bandwidth data pipelines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to comply with U.S. export control laws

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of professional experience developing C or C++
  • Hands-on experience with Radar algorithms, radar signal processing, integration, and test of a radar system
  • Experience working in a DO-178 software development environment
  • Thorough understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking
  • Comfort with a fast-paced, agile/iterative development life cycle
