Sr Embedded Eng Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead the verification and validation (V&V) of avionics embedded software to ensure high-quality program delivery.
• Manage technical teams, fostering teamwork, transparency, and professional competency development.
• Drive common test architectures, environments, strategies, and automation tools.
• Ensure compliance with DO-178 B/C standards and manage TSO certification processes.
• Meet cost, schedule, and quality commitments for aerospace programs.
• Manage stakeholders both within and outside the organization to propose technical improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including VPD ideas and RDE reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (ECE, CS, or EEE).
• 10+ years of experience in software development, systems, or software verification.
• Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in software verification and validation (V&V).
• Deep technical knowledge of DO-178 B/C design assurance guidelines and supplements.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage talent, hiring, and retention.
• Strong stakeholder management and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Flight Management and Flight Control products.
• Knowledge of Global Navigation technologies.
• Experience with Tool Qualification, TRR, RFS, and Certification Documentation.
• Familiarity with SOI#3 Audits.
