About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of automated test equipment systems for functional, environmental qualification, and manufacturing acceptance tests
- Analyze test results to identify failure modes, lead root cause investigations, and drive improvements back into designs
- Author, execute, and audit test plans, procedures, and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful testing campaigns
- Drive continuous improvement to test system infrastructure, processes, and practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of full cycle electronics hardware test or development experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals
- Extensive experience with test equipment and measurement techniques
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as C, C++, or Python
- Ability to develop and maintain test software
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering
- Familiarity with industry test standards like RTCA DO-160 or MIL-STD-461/810
- Experience with Altium Designer and SPICE for PCB simulation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
