Sr. Electrical and Electronics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop customized electrical hardware requirements for industrial UPS systems, Static Transfer Switches (STS), and Power Distribution (PDU) products.
• Engineer and specify components for control and monitoring systems, including PCB specification and schematic development.
• Create and maintain electrical drawings, three-line diagrams, and circuit-level connection diagrams.
• Review PCB schematics and layout drawings to ensure compliance with system requirements and specifications.
• Perform validation and debugging of circuit designs and board prototypes using power analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Optimize electrical designs for performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost.
• Identify relevant electrical standards to ensure design compliance with UL, IEC, and other certifications.
• Support product field issues through technical deep-dive efforts and resolve vendor-related PCB issues.

Requirements

• B.E. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
• 5-10 years of professional experience in electrical or electronics engineering.
• Proficiency in electrical systems design, particularly for panels and power equipment.
• Strong knowledge of schematic development, BOM preparation, and wire harness design.
• Sound understanding of battery-based systems, battery characteristics, and their integration with power converters.
• Knowledge of power electronic converters and semiconductor switches (specifically static switches).
• Ability to understand and apply UL and IEC standards for testing and certification.
• Experience working in bench and power lab environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing battery racks according to industry standards.
• Exposure to electrical switchgear such as MCB, MCCB, and fuses.
• Understanding of busbar design considerations.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions.
