Sr EHS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead complex EH&S engineering projects, including process safety, advanced hazard controls, automation, and ergonomics.
• Design, implement, and validate engineering solutions to reduce critical risks and improve environmental performance.
• Conduct advanced risk analyses such as complex HIRAs, ventilation calculations, and exposure modeling.
• Drive the continuous improvement and maturity of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Provide expert-level technical guidance to Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams.
• Lead environmental engineering initiatives focused on emissions reduction, waste minimization, and energy efficiency.
• Manage advanced industrial hygiene evaluations and implement engineering-based control strategies.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Industrial, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, or related).
• 5–7 years of EH&S engineering experience with proven technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican EH&S regulations; OSHA knowledge is preferred.
• Solid experience in implementing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Advanced understanding of risk engineering and industrial hygiene.
• Bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
