About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate non-wet mechanical systems for large-scale semiconductor manufacturing, including HVAC, process ventilation, and cleanroom make-up air handling.
  • Collaborate with design firms, contractors, and vendors to ensure systems meet project specifications, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Review and validate engineering documentation, including P&IDs, equipment specifications, system arrangements, and 3D models.
  • Evaluate mechanical system designs for flow rates, thermal performance, constructability, and reliability.
  • Use BIM and design coordination tools like Revit and Navisworks to support clash detection and cross-functional system integration.
  • Support commissioning, testing, equipment validation, and system startup to ensure operational readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated experience in dry mechanical engineering, HVAC, process exhaust, or cleanroom mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in reviewing engineering work such as P&IDs, specifications, system layouts, and 3D models.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems used in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or complex industrial facilities.
  • Strong communication and project coordination skills to work effectively with external and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with BIM workflows, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or mechanical controls integration (PLC/SCADA).
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and energy-efficient HVAC systems.
  • Professional certifications such as PE, LEED AP, or CPD.
