Sr. Draftsperson - Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise mechanical CAD drawings and sketches for equipment and piping systems to support design, procurement, and installation.
• Ensure drawings include accurate details such as piping, valves, fittings, instrumentation, and erection dimensions.
• Perform technical calculations using algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to ensure design accuracy.
• Participate in plant walkdowns to verify as-built conditions and support configuration management.
• Prepare Bills of Material (BOMs) and material lists using catalogues and procurement systems.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and clarify requirements.
• Conduct self-checks and quality reviews to ensure compliance with drafting and document control standards.

Requirements

• Diploma in mechanical engineering technology.
• 4+ years of experience producing and revising mechanical CAD deliverables for industrial or station facility projects.
• Proven capability in developing detailed piping system drawings and layouts.
• Experience participating in plant or field walkdowns to verify as-built conditions.
• Proficiency in performing mechanical calculations to support design accuracy.
• Experience preparing BOMs and material lists for procurement and fabrication.
• Strong commitment to nuclear safety culture and procedural adherence.
