Sr. Draftsperson - Civil

Responsibilities

• Develop and update civil drawings, sketches, and operational flowsheets for station projects and modifications.
• Produce detailed drawings for reinforced concrete, structural steel, fire protection, roadways, and grading.
• Create CAD drawings to support design changes, fabrication, construction, and technical studies for site improvements.
• Conduct plant walkdowns to verify field conditions and support configuration management.
• Perform technical civil and structural calculations to ensure design accuracy.
• Prepare bills of material (BOMs) and material lists to support procurement and documentation.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to resolve drafting and design conflicts.

Requirements

• Diploma in civil engineering technology.
• 4+ years of experience producing and revising civil CAD deliverables for industrial or station facility projects.
• Proven experience developing detailed drawings for reinforced concrete and structural steel.
• Experience participating in plant or field walkdowns to verify as-built conditions.
• Proficiency in performing civil/structural calculations using algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Strong commitment to nuclear safety culture and procedural adherence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with asset or procurement systems such as Passport.
• Ability to produce mechanical engineering design deliverables using CAD tools.
