Sr. Distinguished Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams dedicated to productionizing machine learning applications and systems at scale
• Deliver ML models and software components that solve complex business problems in the financial services industry
• Drive the creation and evolution of ML models and software to enable state-of-the-art intelligent systems
• Lead large-scale ML initiatives and guide architectural design decisions
• Leverage cloud-based architectures and compute technologies like Dask and RAPIDS to deliver optimized models
• Optimize data pipelines and evangelize best practices across the engineering and modeling lifecycles
• Mentor engineers and help recruit, nurture, and retain top technical talent

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing
• 7+ years of experience programming in C, C++, Python, or Scala
• 4+ years of experience with the full ML development lifecycle in a business-critical setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and scaling production-ready data pipelines for ML models
• 3+ years of experience using Dask, RAPIDS, or High Performance Computing
• 3+ years of experience with the PyData ecosystem (NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn)
• Proven ML industry impact through conference presentations, papers, blog posts, or open source contributions
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
