Sr. Director, Smartphone Product & Category Management

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Product Managers for S, Z, and A Series to drive market share growth.
• Drive product and category planning, GTM strategy, and lifecycle management for Galaxy Smartphones in the US.
• Partner with Headquarters to ensure US consumer and carrier requirements are integrated into future roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Carrier and Retail account teams for new product introductions and RFPs.
• Author and execute GTM strategies, including defining business goals, volume/revenue targets, and KPIs.
• Own product positioning, value propositions, and pricing strategy for the US market.
• Lead device forecasting and portfolio strategy to identify market opportunities.
• Serve as a product spokesperson to internal stakeholders, customers, and media.

Requirements

• 14-16 years of experience in a strategic role with a strong focus on execution.
• Proven experience in people management and leading high-performing teams.
• Advanced project management skills to manage cross-functional teams and launch timelines.
• Strong written, visual, and verbal presentation skills for communicating with executive leadership and media.
• A deep passion for technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in the Mobile industry.
• MBA degree.
• Experience in consumer needs identification, product innovation, and data/pricing analysis.
• Expertise in technology trend analysis and consumer insight research.
