About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global service readiness and service technology strategy to drive lifecycle services growth and install base monetization.
- Lead the global NPDi service organization, ensuring serviceability, maintainability, and digital enablement are embedded into all product development tollgates.
- Identify, evaluate, and deploy emerging service technologies, building a roadmap aligned with AI, robotics, and high-performance computing trends.
- Manage the Service Technology and NPDi budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and high ROI.
- Build and lead a high-performing global team of service technology leaders and NPDi engineers.
- Partner with external ecosystems, including OEMs, startups, and universities, to pilot and scale new service capabilities.
- Serve as the executive interface across Services, Product, and Engineering leadership to provide updates on innovation and digital adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master's or MBA strongly preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in service operations, technology, or product development.
- 10+ years in progressive leadership roles with experience managing cross-functional global teams.
- Deep expertise in NPD/NPDI processes and stage-gate methodologies.
- Proven track record in digital transformation, service technology, or innovation leadership.
- Ability to travel globally between 25% and 50%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in critical infrastructure, data center, or power/cooling industries.
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
