Sr Director, Quality

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate product assurance programs to prevent or eliminate defects in new and existing products.
• Accountable for building and improving quality systems, including compliance, customer assurance, and document control across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
• Interface with manufacturing, engineering, and customer representatives to ensure compliance and set strategic quality goals.
• Coach QA chiefs to develop effective system and compliance strategies that align with business objectives.
• Provide proactive regulatory advice and expertise on a global basis to guide management.
• Ensure compliance with the Company’s Quality System and applicable regulatory requirements, such as ISO 13485.
• Prepare the company for regulatory inspections and work with senior functional chiefs to implement quality strategies.
• Establish and maintain quality assurance policies, processes, and controls to ensure products conform to established standards and customer requirements.
• Work with operating entities to conduct inspections, statistical process control research, and audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced functional, technical, and people management skills.
• Expert knowledge of quality functions and thorough understanding of complex business interdependencies.
• Knowledge of national and international government regulatory agency standards.
• Proven relationship management experience with automotive manufacturers and strong networking skills within OEMs.
• Extensive experience in customer-facing roles.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Availability to travel across the Americas.
