About the role
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve day-to-day operations and vendor management for the Lilly Cares Patient Assistance Program (PAP).
- Develop scalable processes, governance frameworks, and SOPs to ensure regulatory, privacy, and quality compliance.
- Lead comprehensive vendor strategy, including selection, contracting, onboarding, and ongoing performance management.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track program health and patient impact.
- Lead the PAP project management function, building integrated project plans, risk registers, and status reporting.
- Drive change management for operational transformation initiatives across the team.
- Serve as a key cross-functional partner to Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Medical Affairs.
- Lead, mentor, and coach direct reports to foster a high-performance, inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical, patient services, or healthcare access operations.
- Proven experience managing vendor ecosystems and multi-vendor performance in a regulated environment.
- Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated leadership of complex operational programs and project management infrastructure.
- Experience in patient assistance programs or specialty pharmaceutical operations.
- Familiarity with FDA, FCA, HIPAA, and privacy regulations.
- Lean Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate operational data into strategic insights.
