Sr. Director, MSL Leader, CMH West

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to provide national field strategic leadership.
• Coach team performance and development through scheduled interactions and field visits.
• Recruit, hire, and develop top talent while contributing to succession planning.
• Develop and implement regional field medical strategies aligned with business unit and medical affairs objectives.
• Partner with internal medical, development, and commercial partners to maximize medical-commercial interactions.
• Oversee MSL congress activities, including strategy development and coordination with clinical research and regulatory teams.
• Ensure team compliance with all applicable policies, laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
• Analyze MSL activity data to drive operational excellence and improve team performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum 3 years of formal people leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years of industry, clinical, or medical experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
• Ability to travel up to 50-75%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, M.D., Ph.D.) in a medically related field.
• Master's or Bachelor's level degree in health sciences (e.g., RN, RPh, PA, NP).
• Prior experience with scientific or field strategy and strong business acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and work across different business units and leadership levels.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience in professional networking.
