About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain enterprise IT and digital strategy to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory expectations
- Establish and oversee a value-based product portfolio framework to link digital initiatives to measurable business outcomes and KPIs
- Lead the enterprise PMO with a vision to transform it into a Value Delivery Office (VDO) focused on benefits realization
- Design and operate IT governance models covering investment approval, architecture standards, and risk management
- Own IT compliance oversight for the utility business, ensuring adherence to regulatory, audit, and cybersecurity requirements
- Manage the IT budget, including planning, forecasting, and regulatory IT budget justification for rate cases
- Establish frameworks to identify, incubate, and scale innovation in areas such as AI, data, and emerging technologies
- Lead and mentor strategy, governance, and innovation teams while partnering with executive stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in IT or digital leadership
- Progressive leadership experience in IT strategy, governance, or digital transformation
- Demonstrated experience building and operating value-based portfolio and product management models
- Proven track record of managing large, complex budgets, including regulatory or externally scrutinized funding
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments, audit processes, risk management, and internal controls
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Prior experience working within regulated industries such as utilities, energy, healthcare, or financial services
