Sr. Director, HR Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HRBP for the R&D organization, supporting VP+ leaders including the CPO, CTO, and CIO
• Partner with leaders to redesign roles and team structures in response to AI transformation
• Translate business priorities into people strategies including org design, succession planning, and leadership development
• Utilize advanced people analytics to identify trends and measure strategic initiatives
• Lead and coach a team of HRBPs supporting the R&D organization
• Collaborate with the Head of HRBP and Talent Development on cross-functional projects like performance calibration and career architecture

Requirements

• 15-20+ years of HRBP or related HR experience
• Significant experience supporting R&D, Engineering, or Product organizations in high-growth tech
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing HR teams
• Proven track record partnering with C-suite leaders on high-stakes decisions
• Expertise in org design, performance management, and leadership development
• Strong data literacy and ability to use analytics for decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience navigating a major strategic pivot or organizational transformation
• Experience working in environments where AI is fundamentally changing work structures
• Ability to operate with urgency and comfort in ambiguity
