Sr. Director EH&S and Environmental Affairs

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) strategies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify potential health, safety, and environmental risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with various departments to integrate EHS protocols into standard operational processes.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to drive continuous improvement in EHS practices.
• Lead EHS training programs to enhance staff awareness and responsiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent in Environmental Science or a related field.
• Master's degree (MA/MS) or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety or a similar discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in an environmental health and safety leadership role.
• Must be based in Hercules, CA, and within commuting distance of the office.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience specifically in regulatory compliance management.
