About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee a broad range of strategic priorities to ensure deliverables move from concept to actionable business plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality strategy output and serve as a mentor across the organization.
- Partner with Divisional Strategy leads on advisory projects including market entry, corporate development, and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and maintain complex financial analysis models to support investment evaluation and business case development.
- Articulate the S&P Global strategy through compelling narratives and executive-level presentations for the board and investor community.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify necessary shifts in strategic planning.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to source, evaluate, and develop new organic and inorganic growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, M&A modeling and execution, or corporate strategy.
- Proven ability to drive projects with significant strategic impact and influence senior leadership.
- Superior analytical skills with the ability to draw key insights and develop clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, including expert-level PowerPoint capabilities for executive audiences.
- Strong business acumen with knowledge of financial data industries and global markets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA.
- Experience working with or interacting with a publicly listed company with global operations.
- Knowledge of the application of AI to financial services and experience developing technology strategies.
