Sr DevOps Engineer I - Salesforce

Responsibilities

• Administer, design, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Copado, leveraging User Stories and Promotions to manage Salesforce metadata.
• Manage repository integrations, implement branching strategies, and resolve merge conflicts within GitHub and GitLab.
• Configure Quality Gates by integrating static code analysis (PMD) and Apex unit tests to improve code quality.
• Own the lifecycle and hygiene of all Salesforce environments, including development, QA, staging, and full-copy sandboxes.
• Execute sandbox data deployments and data-masking procedures for UAT/staging to ensure secure test data.
• Lead weekly production deployments in coordination with Project Managers and Release Managers.
• Automate builds and deployments to eliminate manual steps and integrate security scanning and compliance checks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and release management/DevOps.
• Hands-on expertise with Copado CI/CD administration, implementation, and Git integration.
• Experience configuring Quality Gates with static code analysis (PMD) and Apex unit tests.
• Strong experience managing Salesforce environments, including sandbox refreshes and data deployments.
• Proven track record of leading deployment activities and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Git-based source control tools such as GitHub and GitLab.
• CI/CD automation experience with Jenkins or equivalent build-automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with AWS deployments or other cloud platform services.
• Scripting and automation skills in Bash, Python, or Apex, and familiarity with Salesforce CLI (sfdx).
• Copado Consultant/Administrator or Salesforce Administrator certifications.
