About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design hardware and electrical components for medical devices within the Core Diagnostics Division
  • Develop new products and processes while improving and maintaining existing product lines
  • Instruct and check the work of other design engineers
  • Conduct design analysis on components and assemblies to ensure cost efficiency, manufacturability, and reliability
  • Coordinate with other engineering personnel to ensure interrelated design completion
  • Act as an internal consultant providing technical guidance on complex projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a similar area of expertise
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical/electronic engineering
  • Proven expertise in circuit and PCBA design
  • Experience with EMC and Wireless testing
  • Experience with Product Safety testing

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of experience specifically with medical devices
  • Experience with FDA Device Regulatory requirements
  • Experience working within regulated environments and quality systems
