Sr Demand Planner

Responsibilities

• Improve forecast accuracy by implementing processes to collect data, analyze trends, and prepare forecasts in support of the SIOP process.
• Collaborate with Site and Defense & Space demand teams to capture historical data and upcoming business initiatives.
• Provide direction on forecasting methods, including market-driven, dependent, and leading indicators.
• Reconcile actual usage to planned unconstrained demand forecasts on a monthly basis.
• Measure demand plans against supply plans to determine root causes of gaps and recommend improvements.
• Participate in CDP reviews to aggregate unconstrained demand forecasts and compare them against supply plans across all sites.
• Drive collaboration between Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), Demand Management, Finance, and other business functions.
• Recommend actions to optimize Finished Goods Inventory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Demand Planning functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• US citizenship is required due to contractual requirements.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable.
• Broad understanding of Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) concepts and systems.
• Experience identifying continuous improvement opportunities within a supply chain environment.
• Strong ability to drive vision and collaboration through indirect leadership.
