Sr. Delivery Consultant - Migrations and Modernization

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migration engagements, including discovery, assessment, wave planning, execution, and post-migration validation for on-premises workloads.
• Design scalable and secure AWS solutions, including Landing Zone architecture, multi-account strategies, networking, and security controls.
• Drive modernization strategies such as re-platforming, re-architecting, and containerization.
• Utilize AWS migration tools and agentic AI tools (such as Amazon Q and Kiro) to automate code analysis, IaC generation, and testing.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, aligning technical migration strategies with business outcomes.
• Manage project risks, lead escalations, and identify follow-on sales opportunities.
• Mentor team members and create reusable migration artifacts, runbooks, and accelerators.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in complex, large-scale, customer-facing project management.
• Proven track record of end-to-end migration delivery for VM and physical server workloads.
• Expertise in AWS solution design and architecture, including networking and security controls.
• Proficiency in using AWS migration tools and leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate delivery.
• Strong ability to define migration strategies (7Rs) and align technical solutions with business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience or AWS Associate level certification.
• 6+ years of experience with Enterprise Application Modernization technologies (Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations).
• Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and version control systems.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect.
• Experience managing project risks and scaling impact through mentoring and training.
