Sr. DC Infrastructure Engineer (Network Engineer IV)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data center infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
• Create detailed technical drawings and models for data center layouts, including facilities, cabinets, racking, and electrical/mechanical components using AutoCAD.
• Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Monitor infrastructure components to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and migrations with minimal impact on ongoing operations.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure operational continuity.
• Implement security measures to protect data center assets and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in data center infrastructure or a related occupation.
• Experience in large-scale data center planning, design, and deployment (backbone, edge, and CDN).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio for infrastructure modeling.
• Strong knowledge of TIA and OCP design standards.
• Understanding of server hardware, storage systems, networking protocols, and virtualization platforms.
• Experience with critical environment electrical and mechanical infrastructure and cabling best practices.
