Sr Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific computing platforms and shared analytical environments for data analysis and modeling.
• Design and implement scalable, reproducible workflows aligned with FAIR data principles and best practices.
• Enhance data accessibility and automate processes to improve research efficiency and productivity.
• Build and deploy reusable data-driven tools and applications to support scientific research and development.
• Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and improve workflows.
• Provide training, documentation, and technical guidance to foster a collaborative learning environment.

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD (with relevant post-doc where applicable).
• Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Proficiency in R or Python.
• Experience with SQL for accessing data warehouses.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience developing and deploying data-driven applications (e.g., R Shiny, Dash, Streamlit).
• Understanding of reproducible research practices, software lifecycle management, and FAIR data principles.
• Basic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and pharmacokinetics.
