Sr Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Develop and operationalize reusable, modular data analytics products on the Alcon digital health data platform
• Collaborate with data product and engineering teams to define requirements for data pipelines and analytics use cases
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex problems into structured analytic approaches and ML models
• Design and build advanced analysis to drive actionable insights and support critical business decisions
• Advocate for data-driven decision-making and stay updated on AI/ML innovations and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
• 2 years of relevant experience in data science or a related field
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Strong knowledge of ML techniques including classification, regression, anomaly detection, and optimization
• Experience with BI and dashboarding tools such as Tableau
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and communication)

• Experience in healthcare and related AI or data analytics use cases
