Sr. Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
• Develop and optimize data models for reporting, billing, and campaign delivery systems.
• Manage batch and real-time data processing workflows handling billions of daily events.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy through automated validation frameworks and reconciliation checks.
• Optimize Snowflake performance and implement cost-efficient data processing patterns.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Machine Learning teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Follow engineering standards for CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, and deployment quality gates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Deep understanding of data technologies including Snowflake, Spark, and SQL.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) or a strong willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Background in digital advertising, programmatic systems, or ad measurement platforms.
• Experience with streaming data systems such as Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD automation.
