Sr Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-native solutions using Databricks, Apache Spark, Airflow, and AWS
• Build and maintain MuleSoft APIs and integration solutions to enable connectivity between CRM and enterprise systems
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale structured and unstructured data processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data solutions that meet business requirements
• Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality control processes to ensure data integrity
• Optimize Spark jobs, SQL queries, and APIs for maximum scalability and performance
• Support CI/CD automation and DevOps best practices for data engineering deployments
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data processing and integration issues

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 9 to 12 years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies including Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark, SparkSQL)
• Proficiency in MuleSoft API and integration job design and development
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data analysis and visualization tools
• Experience with AWS cloud data platforms and workflow orchestration
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data protection regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• MuleSoft Certified Developer (Level 1 or higher)
• Databricks Certified Associate or Professional Data Engineer/Analyst
• AWS Professional or Associate certification
• Experience with Python, R, SageMaker, and AI-assisted engineering tools
