Sr Cybersecurity Engineer- Network Automation

Responsibilities

• Drive automation-first initiatives by designing and building Python-based tools and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Own and optimize enterprise network and perimeter security, including Palo Alto NGFWs, Panorama, GlobalProtect VPN, and Prisma Access (SASE).
• Design secure hybrid/multi-cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, implementing network segmentation and perimeter controls.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using Git-based and GitOps workflows to improve scalability and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues involving routing, packet flows, NAT, decryption, and SSL/TLS.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to support enterprise security controls, policy enforcement, and incident response.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network, perimeter, and cloud security, automation, and SRE/DevOps.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for automation, including REST API integrations and backend services.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform (including Terraform Cloud) and Ansible for configuration management.
• Deep expertise in Palo Alto technologies, including NGFWs, Panorama, and SASE solutions.
• Proven experience working in hybrid or multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications such as PCNSE, CCIE (Security), CISSP, or CCSP.
• Experience with Forescout NAC, including device profiling and dynamic segmentation.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI-driven automation and SOAR integrations.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash or PowerShell and working with YAML/JSON.
