Sr. Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead overall field execution and pre-execution planning for complex nuclear infrastructure projects
• Supervise direct-hire and subcontracted labor to ensure safe and timely performance of work
• Develop and maintain a construction team, including succession planning and hiring strategies
• Manage site safety, human performance issues, and reinforce a strong nuclear safety culture
• Utilize project master schedules to create detailed look-ahead schedules for Superintendents
• Monitor and manage project risks, developing recovery strategies for schedule or budget deviations
• Ensure all construction complies with drawings, specifications, and Quality Assurance Programs
• Manage trades union relations and proactively address labor relations issues

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of construction and subcontractor supervision experience
• Extensive knowledge of self-perform trades work, estimating, and employee relations
• Proficient trades union relations management skills and understanding of applicable union agreements
• Strong knowledge of construction technology, equipment, methods, and engineering
• Deep understanding of cost control, scheduling, and safety requirements
• Ability to manage all matters in a confidential and professional manner
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 15 years of specific nuclear construction experience
