Sr. Configuration Management Specialist IV

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for hardware and software configuration management, including lifecycle control and change governance
• Lead configuration management support for proposals and program planning, including RFP and SOW reviews
• Establish and mature organizational configuration management capability across programs
• Govern CDM practices across multiple product lines to ensure compliance and alignment
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior CM staff
• Build partnerships with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams
• Represent the CDM function to senior leadership, customers, and regulatory authorities
• Oversee and optimize PLM systems and data governance protocols
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as AS9100, EIA-649, and ITAR/EAR

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in configuration management, engineering, or manufacturing
• Experience within an aerospace or regulated manufacturing environment
• 2-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Deep knowledge of AS9100 and EIA-649 standards
• US Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance

• Systems Thinking and analytical skills regarding hardware and software relationships
• Systems Engineering process knowledge
• Experience with large-scale cross-functional project teams
• Experience with databases such as SolidWorks PDM
