Sr Compensation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Total Rewards team to deliver broad-based compensation support for the business.
• Conduct benchmarking, analysis, and calculations, including participation in external compensation surveys and job matching.
• Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports, spreadsheets, charts, and presentations to enable compensation decision-making.
• Support the annual compensation review process, ensuring accurate inputs, validation, and smooth execution.
• Resolve compensation program issues using established policies and procedures while maintaining high-quality documentation.
• Collaborate with people partners, finance, and business leaders to validate and share compensation-related information.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in broad-based compensation, total rewards, HR, or rewards consulting.
• Working knowledge of core compensation fundamentals, including salary structures, market pricing, compa-ratios, and merit processes.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyze large datasets using PivotTables, lookups, and conditional logic.
• High attention to detail with strong standards for accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines during peak compensation cycles.
• Flexibility to join calls outside standard IST hours to support global stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting annual compensation cycles or compensation survey participation.
• Exposure to reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to work effectively through ambiguity and demonstrate a proactive, continuous-improvement mindset.
