About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Total Rewards team to deliver broad-based compensation support for the business.
- Conduct benchmarking, analysis, and calculations, including participation in external compensation surveys and job matching.
- Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports, spreadsheets, charts, and presentations to enable compensation decision-making.
- Support the annual compensation review process, ensuring accurate inputs, validation, and smooth execution.
- Resolve compensation program issues using established policies and procedures while maintaining high-quality documentation.
- Collaborate with people partners, finance, and business leaders to validate and share compensation-related information.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in broad-based compensation, total rewards, HR, or rewards consulting.
- Working knowledge of core compensation fundamentals, including salary structures, market pricing, compa-ratios, and merit processes.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyze large datasets using PivotTables, lookups, and conditional logic.
- High attention to detail with strong standards for accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines during peak compensation cycles.
- Flexibility to join calls outside standard IST hours to support global stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting annual compensation cycles or compensation survey participation.
- Exposure to reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Ability to work effectively through ambiguity and demonstrate a proactive, continuous-improvement mindset.
