About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and commercialization of innovative semiconductor adhesive products through advanced material design and laboratory studies.
- Design, formulate, and execute laboratory studies, analyzing experimental data to provide technical recommendations for product performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams, including project management, application engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure successful product launches.
- Provide technical support to customers throughout the product lifecycle, investigating performance issues and implementing solutions.
- Support manufacturing operations and scale-up activities to ensure consistent product quality and reliable production processes.
- Maintain compliance with all environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements within the laboratory environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5+ years of product development experience in an industrial, research, or academic environment.
- Strong technical background in thermoset materials, adhesive formulations, surface/filler technologies, or semiconductor packaging processes.
- Hands-on experience in a chemical laboratory environment with proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for presenting technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and solve complex technical challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
