Sr. Calibration Technician (Metrology)

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and certify electronic and physical/dimensional measuring and test equipment to technical specifications.
• Maintain traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
• Perform complex repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance on electronic, digital, and analog equipment.
• Interpret schematic diagrams, logic charts, drawings, and manufacturer manuals to isolate malfunctions.
• Prepare and maintain detailed repair and maintenance records in compliance with federal and department regulations.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and equipment operators regarding equipment operation.
• Serve as a lead resource to resolve complex technical problems and may train or check the work of lower-level employees.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with HS&E requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree or applicable technical training and certifications.
• 10 years of directly related experience (equivalent experience in lieu of degree is acceptable).
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to client requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Military PMEL/TMDE training.
• Experience in Electrical, Physical, Pressure, and Temperature (Heat Treat) disciplines.
• Proficiency with Indysoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track, or Met/Cal.
• Previous customer service experience.
