Sr. Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end business and systems analysis for RWE studies, translating life sciences protocols into clear, testable system requirements
• Produce high-quality requirements artifacts including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data flows
• Support configuration activities and ensure alignment between data management needs and product capabilities
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Epidemiology, and Data Management partners to ensure requirements align with scientific objectives
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies within assigned studies and recommend appropriate mitigations
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other applicable research regulations
• Provide informal mentoring and peer review support to other Business Analysts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Sciences, Biotechnology, Business Administration, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in business or systems analysis, specifically delivering healthcare or life sciences data systems
• Working knowledge of Real World Evidence (RWE) study designs
• Practical experience with healthcare data standards and models such as HL7 FHIR or OMOP
• Proficiency with business analysis and collaboration tools including Jira and Confluence
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting observational, registry, or clinical research studies
• Experience with decentralized, direct-to-participant, or digital health research platforms
• Familiarity with healthcare coding systems such as SNOMED, ICD, or LOINC
• Exposure to SQL, JSON, or scripting languages like Python, R, or SAS
• Experience working with global or cross-regional delivery teams
• Strong AI skillset
